This letter to the editor appeared in the Bucks County Courier Times today.Young parents, struggling to provide for the needs of their children in today’s difficult economy, are going to face an $8.5 trillion national debt supported by Republican Mike Fitzpatrick. The Republican Congress, so insensitive to the financial stress which average citizens have to endure, even doled out millions in pork barrel spending and tax breaks for the wealthy.Amen, sister.
Democrat Patrick Murphy hears our cry for change. He wants parents to be able to keep alive the American Dream for their children. Murphy wants to stop the escalating cost of the national debt.
We need new priorities and change in leadership. We need to elect Democrat Patrick for Congress, a man who is prepared to roll up his sleeves and fight for the needs and the rights of the people of Pennsylvania.
