Tuesday Stuff

I gotta tell ya' that K.O. had a hell of a smackdown tonight in response to Dubya and the upbeat talking points that he's told his minions to promulgate throughout our corporate media; the problem is that the clip is 4:51, but you can only view :38 of it before it shuts off...heckuva job, MSNBC!

So in the meantime...

...Mason Proper ("Lock And Key"; why do I have a feeling that this video is going to give me nightmares?)...

...OK, I can't hold back on the holiday stuff any more; here's "The 12 Pains Of Christmas" (formerly viewable by clicking the wreath on the home page; I'll be changing those links from time to time, and I just did so a minute ago).

I saw the K.O. commentary in full...and it is awesome.

I am so full of rage and it is making me ill. Blood pressure out of control, on 3 new meds.

Son's company sold for the assets, and everyone out of a job. People are not assets in America. Yes, this is a direct result of the lending crisis. He still has his 2 part time night jobs so he can continue to support his kids while his ex wife can sit home doing nothing. She took the kids to go live with the boyfriend. Son lost everything in settlement, and lives with me for free, it was o.k. till yesterday when I got a letter from pension trustees telling me the fund lost 1/3 its value and "corrective action" and "adjustments" will be made to save the fund. Translation, benefits will be reduced. I am one of millions to pay this price for the greed of others, as is my son.

And bush, this sorry excuse for a man, this sorry piece of crap we called president for 8 years, this horror who trashed this country and took it to the curb like trash, is trying to write his own legacy? He is a disgrace, and he knows it. His father and mother know it. The world knows it.

No wonder his mother had a bleeding ruptured ulcer.

This commentary from K.O. should be on a dvd and inserted in every history book printed from now and forever.

God, I’m so sorry to hear about the circumstances of you and your son. You have my utmost respect and wishes for all good things.

I can’t say a lot about what I do, but it does involve software development, and we lost almost half of our group last week. All good people sacrificed for the almighty share price. Rest assured that I detest Dubya – of course, I’ve been ranting about that for years now – but as far as I’m concerned, all of this crap about considering flesh-and-blood human beings to be nothing more than “assets” and “resources” started under the presidency of The Sainted Ronnie R. I hope nocturnal creatures dig him up and use his bones to build an Erector Set.

Yeah, I really wonder what’s up with MSNBC’s videos at times – at least once on “Worst Persons,” K.O. would name the first two, but then he’d name Limbaugh the worst, and then the video would end prematurely before you heard what Olbermann said. If you’re not going to put up the video for editorial reasons, which is cowardly enough, do that instead of just airing about 10 seconds of it (at times like that, I suddenly remember that the network is owned by GE). Ridiculous.
