Kudos to Bonnie Erbe for trying to get some Fox pretty boy with hard hair (Gregg Jarrett) to focus on something besides the Edwards business (more importantly, the Georgia-Russia war, and of course "no one could have foreseen this" in Bushco even though we mentored Georgia and earned Putin's ire in the process...not saying we shouldn't have, but they should have known the risk, or at least said so publicly), but no luck for Erbe on that of course; sadly, the Edwards story will half a "half-life," if you will, for years, though Erbe quite rightly said it was "water cooler talk" (and the faux outrage by the punditocracy is already hilarious, with MoDo leading the way in the Times today - h/t Think Progress)...
...and by the way, I'm not going to join the chorus calling for an inquisition against John W. McBush because of his own infidelity many years ago, as if that's an excuse to let John Edwards off the hook; I'm done with making excuses for John Edwards, in case anyone hasn't figured that out by now - besides, as indicated here, I have plenty of other issues with the "straight-talk express"...
...and R.I.P., Isaac Hayes (his signature composition that shared the same title as the movie "Shaft," the film that created the blaxploitation pic - the opening appears below)...
...but as for the rest of us, here's The Hooters ("I'm Alive").
