It's Not Too Late

By the way, a whole bunch of other bloggers out there have done a first-class job covering the 2nd U.S. Congressional District election in Ohio between psycho Repug Jean Schmidt and Democrat Paul Hackett who served in Iraq (and definitely saw combat, despite Flush Limbore's attempt to smear him while ingesting OxyContin today - the fact that Hackett has emerged so quickly on the Repug hit parade tells you something), but if somehow you're reading this and you can cast a vote for Hackett, or if you can relieve some workers at voting locations, drive somebody to vote who may need a ride, bring bottles of water, order dinner for volunteers who have been canvassing all day, etc., please do so. Thanks.

Update 8/3: Schmidt eked out a victory - ugh! - 52/48 percent, but Hackett did very well in a GOP stronghold.
