Monday Stuff

David Doel brings a commendable level of outrage (and a quick a-hole reference, which is totally called for IMHO) over the recently-finished wrangling over what passes for COVID economic relief as far as the U.S. Senate is concerned, which is still an obscenity given the level of economic suffering out there, putting aside the calamitous health impact for a minute...as usual, it’s that scary socialist Bernie Sanders who’s spot-on here – I honestly don’t know how U.S. Senate Republicans sleep at night, though many of them do apparently...

...and speaking of bringing a commendable level of outrage, Chris Hayes gives it to Rupert The Pirate and his “Empire of Misinformation” on the question of the COVID vaccine as well as masking up, observing shelter-in-place and social distancing, etc. (yeah, pretty funny that Fix Noise’s own lawyers argued that the Swanson TV Dinner Heir’s program is entertainment and not news at all)...

...and oh boy, it looks like the Repugs have “gotten the goods” on Raphael Warnock, digging up a clip where Warnock quite rightly referred to the “party of Lincoln” as thugs and gangsters for trying to take health care away from kids, which resonated with the crowd in church to the point where they stood and applauded – between this and the dustup over Jen O’Malley Dillon, it looks like the “fainting couch” is working overtime (yeah, our side gets called every name they can think of, but when we respond, the “pearl clutching” begins – you can step right off with that BS!; John I. and Francesca tell us more...to help Warnock and Jon Ossoff in the upcoming U.S. Senate special elections in Georgia, click here)...

...and I now give you the latest installment of “This Day In Doomsy History” (more or less) from 12/20/16, in which Sam Seder and the Majority Report crew tell us about Repug U.S. House Rep Bill Huizenga of Michigan, who led us to believe in this clip that, if his son suffers a broken arm, he’s shit outta luck and Dad won’t take him to the ER, or at least not right away...huh??? And yeah, Huizenga was one of the 126 who signed that treasonous amicus brief – I’m going to continue looking for ways to get back at those traitors...Huizenga is worse on that score since, by signing off in the brief, he’s trying to invalidate the election in his own state (and please spare me this guy’s drivel about HSAs, which most people can’t afford anyway...definitely continue to miss Michael Brooks)...

...and here are more seasonal selections.
