Wednesday Stuff

I thought Tim Kaine was absolutely right to point out that it’s a pretty huge chasm of a difference between the two presidential tickets that one thinks that women basically are cattle when it comes to their reproductive health and the other doesn’t, but I honestly wish Kaine had pointed out what a vile, disgusting hypocrite Pence is for claiming to support all life but punishing poor women in Indiana the way he does with his childish tantrum of a fight against Planned Parenthood, something Pence would gladly inflict on the country as a whole if, God forbid, he had the chance (here…some will say Kaine won and some will say Pence won – who matters is the individual at the top of the ticket, somebody Pence is running away from with all speed; also, to be fair, I think the moderator should have prevented the two of them from talking over each other, especially Kaine...more here, here, and here)…

…and K.O. brings us the latest idiocy from “Fergus Laing,” which is every bit as dangerous as Olbermannn points out with all justifiable outrage…

…and Chris Hayes brought some of the reality perspective IMHO on the whole question of the Repugs in Congress blaming Obama for pretty much everything (I think Hakeem Jeffries is wrong, but kudos to him for defending his vote on JASTA – good observations from Robert Draper also)…

…and I thought Kyle K. made a great point here about Trump’s inadvertently stupid (but typical) answer to the scripted question he was asked about veterans and PTSD…

…and Thom Hartmann tells us to pay attention to the private debt vs. the public debt pertaining to the economy (arguing that private debt is a bigger drain, or at least Yves Smith of the Naked Capitalism blog is doing that, and I have no reason to disagree)…

...and 30 years ago today, it all hit the fan, as it were, for The Sainted Ronnie R and his pals, as noted here (more here - here is a song for the occasion).
