...and I get a little fed up with Lawrence O’Donnell and his “mansplaining” from time to time, but I thought this was a good segment with Carl Bernstein on Topic #1 (and yes, it’s true that, ideologically, we tend to gravitate to media that re-enforces our beliefs, but I’ve read just a bit of wingnuttery over all these years too, and those life forms truly are crazy)…

…and 40 years ago today, former Richard Nixon VP Spiro Agnew (he of the “nattering nabobs of negativism” quote) resigned from office and pleaded “no contest” to charges of tax evasion – this was a “money” tune that came to mind for the occasion (try not to be too overwhelmed by the video:-).
