Saturday Stuff

Paging Erin Burnett - why don't you finish up in makeup, darling, and then condescend to get your nails and your hairdo dirty by interviewing those untidy little "99 percenters" (here)...

...and here is more...

...oh, and let's not forget that super-duper deficit reduction committee also (based on this, Clyburn, Murray and Kyl should step down immediately)...

...and I'm cleaning out my "in" bin a bit more and just came across this neat tune.

There is a project by a local artist named Theresa BrownGold.

It is called Art As Social Inquiry.

There is a face book page for Art As Social Inquiry. I don't know if people who are not registered users of face book can access her page but it is open to the public.

She paints portraits and records the stories of people who have enured pain and suffering and death as a result of insurance or lack of insurance.

She bears witness by holding a portrait respectfully and peacefully at Fitzpatrick town hall meetings and is part of the Philadelphia occupation. She will explain her purpose gently to anyone who will listen.

I am honored to have met her and call her my friend.
