Wednesday Stuff

It would seem that the Department of Homeland Security under the Gropenfuhrer is trying to quash a report alleging that Russia (here we go again) is trying to spread stuff on social media about the mental health of Dem presidential nominee Joe Biden (more here)...

...well, at least our former Vice President isn’t trying to fabricate stories about protestors attacking police with cans/bags of soup (definitely a “pot, meet kettle” moment when it comes to questioning someone’s mental capacity...one day this wretched orange nightmare will be over)...

...and how’s this for servile acquiescence to our ruling cabal of grifters and lowlifes...two judges on a panel on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that journalists aren’t protected when covering the protests in Portland (and did I mention that the two judges on the panel who ruled in favor of Mango Mussolini were appointed by Our Treasonous Orange Pretender in An Oval Office? And how the hell is that legal anyway?)...

...and Farron Cousins interviews reporter Alex Kotch, a co-founder of Opt Out News, who apparently is working on an app to bring together progressive news content – Cousins is right...to say something like this is long overdue is a huge understatement; the wingnutosphere figured out how to channel and monetize content awhile ago, and plenty of lefties have too I know...there have been attempts on our side to do this (as opposed to corporate media garbage that we all know well, sadly), but it just hasn’t come together, though hopefully we’ll all be able to get behind this and the proverbial rising tide really will lift all boats, as Kotch says...

...and I’m sorry that it took me a little while to acknowledge the passing of the fine actor Chadwick Boseman – it sounds like there was plenty of heroism in his back story as opposed to the iconic roles he played on film; to go from colon cancer at 43 is just too damn young...there’s so much that we could be doing better in this country on so many fronts, and preventative health care is near the top of that list as far as I’m concerned (and don't even imagine recasting the role of “Black Panther”!...Terry Jones, John Prine, Michael Brooks, now this...I'd better not ask if 2020 could suck any harder because I'm sure it will if I'm not careful)...

...and speaking of fine young men who left us at too young of an age, I think this tune is appropriate for this story.
