To me, the takeaway isn’t Obama’s “shout out,” if you will, to the protesters (which to me was exactly the right move, and I could tell because the right-wing sites went nuts over it…of course, stating support for exactly why “Occupy” is protesting and actually supporting its goals would be even better). The takeaway is the tone of annoyance from the generic corporate media hairdo introducing Obama – sorry the crowd isn’t full of elderly white people wearing funny hats and carrying racist signs, darling…
