Don’t Cry For Little Ricky

Reg Henry of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reminds us that our former jackbooted senator has found a nice, cushy job from which to poise himself for his next foray into politics (and make no mistake, that will come eventually).

I had a good laugh over Henry’s well-written column, except for the very last sentence (and I have this sneaking suspicion that he may be right).

At least when he tries to run as a president or vice-president, he won't be so burdened by having to pretend he lives in Pennsylvania anymore. His new employer is in D.C., so he can stay there full-time!

I'm sure we'll be seeing plenty of His Sanctimoneousness on Fox News when current events permit.

Indeed - if, with the passing of time, Dick Armey can now be considered a voice of reason somehow by our esteemed Beltway pundits who are so spectacularly wrong so often...paging Peter Beinart, among others...then one day, Santorum will be regarded as the father of what could laughably be called "the conservative conscience."

Thanks.
