Monday Stuff

John Iadarola and Keith Edwards of The Damage Report bring us more madness from Cheetoh Hitler...jeez, when Our Ochre Abomination can’t even make nice with Peter Douchebag, well, isn’t that time to just make the #25thAmendmentNow official? And oh yeah, apparently no one but our alleged orange genius knew that Iran would retaliate as they did – I would say that what has happened was indeed expected by EVERYONE IN THE GODDAMN WORLD WITH A BRAIN!!!...and “thousands and thousands of missiles,” huh? I think that last lonely synapse in his noggin is flickering at this point (and I share Edwards’ concern about “midterm shenanigans,” which are already underway...good point about the election day bomb threats in ’24, which were never investigated as nearly as I can tell...God, I wish JUST ONCE that SOMEBODY from our press corps would call out this demented orange fool for the liar he truly is)...

...and Jesse Dollemore and Brittany Page bring us the disgusting spectacle of Cantaloupe Capone celebrating the death of former FBI head Robert Mueller, which is totally expected for our flatulent orange meat sack...good point about how it’s apparently OK for #47 to do that, in contrast with all the folks who were attacked for not being sufficiently mournful over the killing of Charlie Kirk (and leave it to Couch Boy to get it wrong here also)...good point by Page that there was a time when Repugs would actually do the right thing and properly mourn Mueller’s passing (and by the way, I never blamed Mueller for maybe not going as far as I would have liked with his report because Bill Barr sat all over it and wouldn’t let Mueller go in the direction I personally wanted...I think it was pretty plain when Mueller testified before Congress that he basically wanted our legislature to take his findings and use them for the required prosecution, which, thanks to Merrick Garland, didn’t happen)...good point by Page that it’s a stoo-pid and useless exercise to ask some of the flunkies in our cabinet what they think about their boss dancing on Mueller’s grave, notably Scott Bessent, who indeed should NEVER be allowed to live down his glazing of his boss here; that said, I would ask Kristen Welker what the hell do you THINK Bessent would say? Do you HONESTLY BELIEVE that he’d criticize Dear Orange Leader?? (NSFW/H)...

...and Farron Cousins discusses young MAGA voters (35 and under apparently) abandoning #47 – took them long enough...and I think there’s a lot more going on here than a “vibe shift,” by the way...I don’t know who the hell wrote that WaPo editorial (trying to be hip or something), but I’m sure it’s causing Ben Bradlee and Mrs. Graham to do somersaults in their respective graves...in fewer words, these voters, like anybody else who supports the Tangerine Toddler, got utterly played and they don’t have the first clue about what to do in response (although calling a therapist is probably a good first step)...

...and given that I mentioned earlier about the double standard of Trumpists speaking out against those who weren’t sufficiently grieving over the death of Charlie Kirk while acting like it’s OK to trash Robert Mueller, I should remind us of last week’s clip of the two goofballs advocating the death of James Talarico, which apparently is fine also as far as they’re concerned – given that, I’d like to include Talarico’s response here...

...and here’s a tune from Mr. Newberger about the top story we’re all dealing with in one way or another...

...and today marks the 70th anniversary of the release of Elvis Presley’s debut recording (here), which consisted entirely of cover tunes since he was starting out; “Blue Suede Shoes” is probably the most remembered number, though this was included also.
