Chris Hayes tells us about yet another “big lie” from Our Treasonous Orange Pestilence, this time on Social Security (with the usual gaggle of idiots like “Cancun” Cruz chiming in)...you can always count on the ”R” party to fall in line, no matter how stoo-pid the reason (including “MAGA Mike” Johnson – I guess he took a break from monitoring his son’s viewing of p*rn to tell that tired lie about Social Security also...and speaking of “big lies,” let’s not forget this)...
...and speaking of the antics of Not Your Father’s Republican Party, Kyle Kulinski tells us that NRCC head Richard Hudson has told his party’s political lickspittles not to hold town halls any more...of course, as noted, Bri-Fi doesn’t hold them anyway because he’s a coward...and Kyle is indeed correct about keeping up the pressure on these frauds, and the Dems should respond WITH POLICY PROPOSALS THAT MAKE IT CLEAR THAT THEY REPRESENT THE PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY, such as utterly destroying DOGE and trying to make government right as it was prior to Elon taking up space in An Oval Office (which will probably take years at this point), legislation overturning Citizens United once and for all, codifying Roe v. Wade through legislation also, passing the John Lewis Voting Rights Act (more on Lewis a bit later), reinforcing the CHIPS Act (which Bronzer Beelzebub is trying to destroy), reinstituting the CFPB, strengthening Social Security, and on and on...and I agree with Kyle about Schumer and Jeffries (speaking of frauds...and since yours truly resides in the commonwealth of PA, I wonder if Summer Lee in PA-12 could make time to hold an event in PA-01 since @RepBrianFitz is allergic to in-person meetings? ...and Sam and Emma of The Majority Report give us a summary of the not-SOTU and the somewhat spotty protests by Dems in response...and with all due respect to Dem U.S. House Rep Al Green (who was easily the most courageous of all of the Dems in attendance), the cap on taxable Social Security earnings shouldn’t be raised from about $176K, it should be eliminated altogether...and how pathetic is it that 10 alleged “Democrats” voted to censure Green in response as noted here?)...
...and David Pakman lets us know that, apparently, that shameless harpie Maria Bartiromo lost it when an auto dealer in Glen Mills, PA was interviewed and this man said Trump’s tariffs would be terrible, raising the prices of vehicles like crazy...yeah, as Pakman says, I can just see a big ass Chevy Silverado plowing down the narrow streets of Delhi, probably pulverizing people and everything else getting in the way – gosh, color me shocked that other countries don’t want to buy these monstrosities (#sarcasm)...
...and today is the 60th anniversary of the “Bloody Sunday” voting rights march to the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama; one of the leaders of the march was indeed former Dem U.S. Congressman John Lewis of Georgia – I guess this is some of the “DEI” history that Bronzer Beelzebub wants to censor...sorry, orange turd, Na-Ga-Ha-Pen (more here)...
