Tuesday Stuff

Seth Meyers tells us about Generalissimo Trump’s latest rage tweets, as well as Michael Cohen’s recordings – this might be the slowest slow-motion metaphorical train wreck I, for one, have ever seen…

…and when it comes to the Trumpsters, I’m sorry, but Shirley Stigall doesn’t get sympathy points from yours truly…

…and Lawrence O’Donnell and John Heilemann tell us about how most of this country isn’t with the Gropenfuhrer (here, and no, I don’t think our corporate media needs to focus so much on the damn Trump voter…yes, they’re white and “disaffected,” probably pretty damn stoo-pid too…let’s move on, OK?...abrupt video cut at end)…

…and Robert Reich tells us that, even though you can’t exactly nail down the definition, it’s safe to say that we’re in the midst of a constitutional crisis all right…

…and Thom Hartmann speaks with author Thomas Frank about what we can do about it (Frank draws a line all the way back from now to infamous Supreme Court Justice Lewis Powell, even though he probably could go back further still)…

…and I’ll bet you didn’t know that today was National Tequila Day –not sure why they didn’t just combine it with Cinco De Mayo and save everyone the trouble; here’s a tune for the occasion that I’m sure you’ve guessed by now, and celebrating its 60th birthday too (and with Pee Wee Herman nowhere in sight, I should add).
