Tuesday Stuff

Unfortunately, we have a lot more like this to deal with for at least the next two years (heckuva job, everybody who stayed home two weeks ago)…

…and speaking of the election, how in God’s name did Alison Lundergan Grimes manage to not take advantage of THIS (NSFW)?...

…I mean, you know Jon Stewart would have, right? (here - great line aimed at Romney at about 7:00, by the way)…

…and yesterday marked what would have been the 70th birthday of Gene Clark of The Byrds, a guy who probably should have ended up being at least as famous as his other more celebrated band mates (Roger McGuinn, Gram Parsons, Chris Hillman and, of course, David Crosby), but whose life and career was cut short primarily by alcohol – here is one of the band’s signature tunes, which was hugely controversial way back when (almost charming in its naiveté given what is routinely considered part of “pop culture” now).
