Monday Stuff

Ready or not, I'm shaking the last of the sand out of my flip flops and other beach accouterments and plan to rev up this whole blogging thing again soon. But for now, here are some vids for your edification.

First, Bruce Lunsford heaps this one onto Sen. Mr. Elaine Chao (h/t Daily Kos)...

...and my oh my, did John W. McBush make a stinky here while we were away at MVY (h/t Atrios)...

...I also missed this joyous little item featuring McBush pal Bud ("RUN FOR YOUR LIVES FROM THE SCARY MUSLIMS!!") Day...

...and I meant to squeeze this in before we left also: Liddy Dole in freeper la-la land, Chris Wallace screwing up his talking points and Mike Meehan sinking lower than I hope anyone else does ever again (which probably means someone will go lower still)...

...and as far as I'm concerned, this is why David Sirota is The Man.

What is your opinion on the CBS editing which they said was an "accident"? I think it is too suspicious to be an accident.
There is nothing any editing can do to make McCain sound sane..the guy is senile and ignorant. And knowing that Steve Forbes believes Phil Gramm will be a McCain adviser scares me more than McCain being president.

If that was an "accident," then the film editing crew responsible should all get jobs as pastry chefs instead, since they obviously have no place in the news business. No, IMHO, that was planned to cover up for McCain...yet again.

I think Nicole Belle at Crooks and Liars had a good thought; it would be easier to cover stuff that McCain actually gets right instead of his screwups, since the former seem to be so few and far between.

And even though Phil Gramm is "officially" no longer with the campaign, don't imagine that he's actually going to go anywhere.
