A Hidden Cost Of Our Food

The following is from Brave New Films (here); I can recall a time when one of our broadcast networks produced a documentary (remember them?) called “Harvest of Shame,” and that shocked this country into action (those days are dust in the wind now, I guess).

This may be it for posting today, by the way.

This is something that should outrage all citizens, and of course there will be those that say these are illegals and don't belong here anyway.

I would say they could be citizens or are workers on permit, which is supported by congress, and they are deprived of human rights.

It seems to me the only time there is outrage is when something affects citizens at their personal level.

The tea bags and the wing nuts have demonstrated a self serving and selfish outrage which is so disgusting.

If we don't care about fellow beings, what good are we to anyone including ourselves?

Life is too short to be so hostile and mean.
