And make sure he doesn't get any aspirin either.

walter reed used to be the premier military/veteran hospital in the country... i remember reading for years how presidents took their annual physicals there and were hospitalized there for whatever needed taking care of... and that's the way it SHOULD be...

i am very fortunate... as one of those who do not have medical insurance (nor can i afford it), i receive my care through the va, and i have been greatly impressed... after all the horror stories i have heard, it has to rank right up there with the best care i have ever received... yeah, it's a government bureaucracy, but, still, it's not bad... at least the va hospital in reno where i do...

I have a link to a story about the controversy concerning Building 18 on the right nav bar of this site's home page, but otherwise I haven't had much to say I know mainly because other bloggers and reputable news people are covering this so well.

I believe Think Progress or one of the "A" sites pointed out that this is yet another example of Bushco privatizing something that used to work just fine a la FEMA and totally hosing it, and the worst part of course is that our military is paying the price.

We know that Bushco is nothing but a gang of crooks, and if this story isn't Exhibit A, then I don't know what is. They are about acquiring and consolidating power and profit and...absolutely...nothing...else. That should be crystal clear at this point to anyone or anything with a pulse.

Thanks.
