Wednesday Stuff

Silly me – I actually wondered whether or not this video on Planned Parenthood would be timely or not (here – h/t to actor Mark Ruffalo on Twitter)…

...and Robert Reich tells us about the Repugs and their attempt yet again to destroy the Affordable Care Law (here)...isn't hard to imagine why the Repugs demonize on this issue...

…and I never thought much of Robert Costa to be honest, but I have to admit that this is great stuff (and thoroughly troubling, of course)...

...and when it comes to anything remotely approximating equality, as noted here, EVERY DAY might as well be a "Day Without A Woman" at Fix Noise...

...and this tells us about the related protest in NYC (and I’m sure those stats are replicated across most of the rest of this country)…

...and here is a tune for the occasion.

Tuesday Stuff

David Pakman tells us about the Repugs and their latest scam to try and repeal the ACA…

…and you need an emergency appendectomy? TOO BAD, since you were dumb enough to buy that new iPhone a day or so ago, according to House Republican numbskull Jason Chaffetz (here...and an AWESOME related tweet from Jason Kander is here)…

…and here’s Rachel Maddow’s “A” block about Trump and some other shadowy character in Azerbaijan; once more, great stuff (more here)…

…and K.O. is back to warn us yet again about what President Tiny-Handed Egomaniac could yet concoct against us – the last minute or so is pretty damn scary; once again, heckuva job all of you clueless fools who helped to bring this nightmare to hideous fruition…

…and when all else fails, I know the Repugs can try that “community outreach” thing again to win hearts and minds, as they did here in 3/5/09 or thereabouts…yeah, you know it, you love it – time for another installment of “This Day In Doomsy History” (more or less)…

…and happy 50th birthday to drummer Randy Guss of Toad The Wet Sprocket (this should be the theme song for the “Trumpsters”).

Monday Stuff

Great stuff by Kate McKinnon of SNL here (wow, Lorne Michaels is actually sharing SNL videos on YouTube...does that mean the other three horsemen are saddling up?)...

...and sportscaster Dale Hansen stands tall once more, telling us the story of trans athlete Mack Beggs...

..and Rachel Maddow tells us about the latest between President Big Orange Cheetoh and the Russian Fertilizer guy (more here) – I realize her show had to go into “carnival barker” mode during the campaign last year to please her corporate overlords at Comcast, but now that that nonsense is over (not having gone the way we want, of course), TRMS has gone back to what it does best and that’s craft quality journalism, and they’ve been “crushing it” on a regular basis - all of this garbage with President "Donald Drumpf" is eventually going to come together, people)...

…and I think it’s appropriate to revisit Ike’s timeless warning in the context of the “Gropenfuhrer”…

…and Kyle K. tells us about an Arkansas state senator trying to ban books by historian Howard Zinn – what country am I living in again? (NSFW)…

...and sometimes my for-profit activities get in the way of this whole blogging thing - this was definitely one of those days (and yes, I know what this song is about - definitely won't "go postal," people).

Friday Stuff

John Oliver does it again, this time on the Repugs and their alleged replacement for the Affordable Care Law (NSFW)…

…and Bill Maher has some cautionary words for our corporate media – I’ll put down even money that they’ll never listen, unfortunately (I think Maher could have done better than to use a poll by Fix Noise, though I'm sure he's basically right - here - NSFW also)…

…and Rachel Maddow’s “A” block last night was pretty terrific, which basically was the leaked DHS justification for the death of the Muslim ban (here), something I would call one of the top 10 stupidest ideas of any presidential administration, but her “B” segment was great also, arguing that the thoroughly compromised FBI of James Comey held out details of Jeff Sessions’s meetings with the Russians during Sessions’s confirmation hearing for Attorney General, something pretty much confirmed by Dem U.S. Rep Adam Schiff in this clip, who hinted that he may call for a subpoena to Comey to get the information we should all know about by now (once again, great thanks to all of you nitwits who did whatever it was you did to make sure we were saddled with this kleptocratic cabal of crooks and idiots…and nice job by Rachel to sneak in the reminder about how Comey & Co. went nuts over the alleged Hillary Clinton ZOMG BENGHAZI BENGHAZI BENGHAZI EMAIL EMAIL EMAIL!!! stuff, made all the more idiotic by this, by the way)…

…and just to give you an idea of how truly stoo-pid our media is (as noted above I know), now that the site of the DAPL protests is being shut down, there are a lot of stories along the lines of “oh, the trash at the site was so bad – boy, these people sure aren’t ‘eco-friendly’ after all” (here).

THEY WERE LIVING AND PROTESTING THERE FOR ABOUT SIX MONTHS! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU EXPECT? YOU TRY DOING THAT TO TRY AND PROTECT YOUR DRINKING WATER AND LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU DO!

And maybe burning a camp site wasn’t advisable, but at least that’s one way to prevent germs and disease from spreading.

Well, to me, here are two takewaways: 1) The great pic from above courtesy of McSpocky on Twitter, and 2) The report below (and yeah, I know this is from The Putin Network, but I think the militarization of our cops continues to be a big story).

(And P.S.: "Dem" U.S. Senator Heidi Heitkamp is a goddamn coward - here.)…

…and here is more on the Right (Not) To Work movement in this country from Robert Reich…

...and this was not exactly a shining moment by Betsy DeVos recently, but typical...

…and kudos to K.O. for still trying to diagnose what’s going on with the “Gropenfuhrer”- I would add, though, that former Repug Sen. Henry Cabot Lodge’s relentless opposition to the League of Nations had at least as much to do with defeating it and ushering in WWII as President Woodrow Wilson’s stroke…

…and happy belated 90th (!) birthday to legendary singer and social activist Harry Belafonte.

Thursday, March 02, 2017

Thursday Stuff

Funny, but I don’t hear a lot of pontificating from Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III at the moment (oh yeah, what an alleged paragon of virtue to recuse himself from an investigation about Russia – if this were a Democrat, this person would be facing firing and a possible prison sentence for perjury, which is exactly what Sessions should be facing too…more here and here)…

…and David Pakman provides more analysis…

...and Shep Smith had better be careful here or else Fix Noise will send him back to "the factory" I'm sure, so they can drill those conservative talking points into his head for good (yeah, I guess some anonymous sources actually matter, if they’re from Number 45 of course – I’m not sure Chris Wallace was kidding when he asked Smith if he “like(d) it here”)...

…and Seth Meyers gives us his analysis of Number 45’s SOTU address, which I realize is a little behind the news cycle at this point (yeah, look how fast “No Corporate Tax” Pat Toomey leapt to his feet to applaud, and also, the “Gropenfuhrer” really should at least try to educate himself about Harley Davidson and look up that great clip by Lawrence O’Donnell that tells us that what really saved the motorcycle company was learning process improvement from the Japanese, such as fixing their leaky oil pans)…

…and K.O. is back with #40 – yeah, our Republican "daddies" sure want to keep us stupid and scared, all right (NSFW)...

…and did you know that yesterday was National Pig Day? Well, it was (and I know this song is a metaphor only – yeah, yeah, yeah :-).

Wednesday, March 01, 2017

Wednesday Stuff

Silly Bernie Sanders, expecting the “Gropenfuhrer” to pay attention to dumb stuff like, y’know, actual policy and details like Number 45 said he would during the campaign (tongue in cheek, of course…here, here, and is Bernie ever spot-on here)..

…as we know, though, Generalissimo Trump is good at trying to shift blame (here)…

...and trying to turn lies into truth (here)...

…and kudos to the Dems for bringing the people that “Donald Drumpf” wants to deport to his little show last night…

…and harking back to President Tiny Handed Egomaniac, I have to admit that “No Corporate Tax” Pat Toomey (R-Elevator) has come up with a novel way to try and avoid protestors, and that is to move his office building (here...and related to President Fergus Laing, I think this is about what you would expect from someone who abuses women)…

…and I think Kyle provided the necessary context here on that toad Matt Lauer trying to making us forget about the ruinous reign of Former President Highest Disapproval Rating In Gallup Poll History (NSFW…and by the way, this should be required reading for all of the utterly bought-and-paid-for members of the media/political/industrial complex)…

...and this tells us that scientists are trying to find a way to replace ice in an arctic shelf (cue the wingnut umbrage over “out of control government spending”: five, four, three…)…

…and speaking of ice, I think this is a “chill” kind of tune to usher in the month of March.

Tuesday Stuff

(I also posted here.)

Yeah, it takes a while for Rachel Maddow to get to the payoff here, as she notes at the beginning, but there’s a hell of a good reason (more drip! drip! drip! on President Fergus Laing and his sleazy Russian deals – hard to imagine that the nexus of all of this could be new "Trumpster" Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, but you never know)…

…and K.O. says it’s time for a grand jury – long past that point by now, I would say…

…and speaking of Russia, boy, are those CPAC characters stoo-pid (I wish Cenk would stop holding back and tells us what he really thinks :-)…

…and “Yes, Wiccan”? And of course, leave it to the “people of faith” to defend Generalissimo Trump…

…and in my quest to keep this site interesting and not necessarily repetitive, I should note that February is mating season for skunks (here); kind of tipped off to that a bit by the presence of these creatures lying dead in the road, unfortunately (if I’m going to include an item for February, I’d better hurry up)…

…and you just KNEW this was coming, right?

Monday, February 27, 2017

Monday Stuff

I give you more cluelessness on trade from Generalissimo Trump, Part The Infinity as Charlie Pierce might say (more here)...

…and did you hear the ones about those Republican “mavericks” opposing President Fergus Laing? Yeah, right (as Kyle explains...and I definitely don't share his opinion of Rand Paul, by the way, who, for my money, is an idiot - NSFW)…

…and Robert Reich tells us here how to be both a political and a consumer activist…

...and Chris Hayes talks with Rumana Ahmed, the Muslim woman who lasted for 8 days under Trump…

...and I have to admit that I didn't pay a lot of attention to the Oscars on Sunday, though I have to also admit that I can’t possibly understand how Price Waterhouse could screw up the envelopes for Best Picture the way they apparently did here (sooo, the envelope with Emma Stone’s name appeared I believe, but wouldn’t that have been used already since the Best Picture Oscar is supposed to be the last one? So confused…and try not to be too hard on Faye Dunaway, OK?).

And apparently, the show messed up the “In Memoriam” segments also (here), though they did have an ad for Rolex watches that I thought was awesome, with a whole gang of stars including a young Brando (and they managed to include Bill Paxton also, which was a classy touch).

Well (by way of a long setup I’ll admit), I’d like to include this clip, which is also a memorable highlight as far as I’m concerned…

…and RIP Larry Coryell.

Saturday, February 25, 2017

Saturday Stuff

MUST it take something utterly disastrous to happen before Keith Olbermann’s entirely correct words here are validated in the most hideous way possible?...

…and John Iadarola of TYT tells us about the recent press freeze-out by the administration of Fergus Laing (and how SAD! is it to ban Politico, which is basically the vanity press of the Beltway)…

…and John returns to tell us about the smackdown former Dem Congresswoman Gabby Giffords laid on Louie Gohmert, who we knew was the stupidest life form in the universe, but now he apparently is the most cowardly one too…

…and this tells us that Massachusetts could be the first state to use 100 percent renewable energy…

…and Seth Meyers tells us about “the Gropenfuhrer” playing golf WAAAY more times already than Number 44 and Repugs in Congress facing town-hall protests (and gee, “moderate” Dems, try remembering why the hell you were elected in the FIRST PLACE before you ask Bernie Sanders for help)…

…and yeah, this is a nice new tune, and a bit of a tongue-in-cheek selection, to be honest ("the leader is you," indeed).

Friday, February 24, 2017

Friday Stuff

(I also posted here.)

Yeah, it’s safe to say that I missed John Oliver, though I could do without the techno dance music – heh (here - NSFW I think)…

…and Robert Reich tells us here about the proposed infrastructure scam from President Tiny Handed Egomaniac and his pals (here)…

…which, if I may say so, is a pretty good lead-in to the latest installment of “This Day In Doomsy History” from 2/24/10, where Repug politicians (Sam Brownback, Tim Pawlenty and Mike Castle) decried “big gumint” spending on such projects in Washington, D.C., but took credit for it back home (more here, echoing the prior link)…

…and I definitely would call this a sign o’ the times, you might say (re, rise of the "Democratic socialists")…

…and with the impact of the Democratic Socialists in mind, as well as other influences I’m sure, I think it’s safe to say that another ridiculous GOP talking point about “Obamacare” has been destroyed (more here - and there are rallies for health care tomorrow, let's not forget...more here and here)…

…and speaking of the above, this tells us about someone from our beloved commonwealth who would be sold down the proverbial river if “No Corporate Tax” Pat Toomey helps to abolish the Affordable Care Law (and no word if Toomey did anything with his constituents this week except run away from them, and looking for an elevator no doubt)…

…and K.O. tells us about what you could call “the revenge of the spooks” versus “The Gropenfuhrer” (NSFW)…

…and I’m a little late on this, but RIP Alan Aldridge, an artist who designed the album covers (you can Google the term) for The Who and Elton John, in particular “Captain Fantastic And The Brown Dirt Cowboy,” a recording which yielded this fine tune (yep, funk with strings – has to be from the ‘70s).

Thursday, February 23, 2017

Thursday Stuff

Rachel Maddow tells us about what likely will be the upcoming special election in Montana to replace Repug U.S. House Rep Ryan Zinke, likely to sign up with President Tiny-Handed Egomaniac (if Montana is turning purple, as it were – and kudos to them if so – then I would definitely call that a bellwether for “red” places elsewhere – and OF COURSE the Repugs don’t want people to vote, even if members of THEIR OWN PARTY had the foresight to call for statewide balloting by mail)…

...and I thought this was a typically sound analysis by K.O. of Generalissimo Trump's attack on the press (and hey, "Bri-Fi" and "No Corporate Tax" Pat Toomey, do YOU agree also?)...

…and I thought this was an appropriate comparison between the first 30 days of Number 45 vs. Number 44 – almost too painful to watch; heckuva job, all of you numbskulls who helped to create this misery…

...and as I said last year, the Brits aren't shy at all when it comes to their disdain for President Big Orange Cheetoh (interesting theory by Ben Mankiewicz about TV making us stupider, ultimately leading to President Fergus Laing - could be right)...

…and RIP Alan Colmes (here) – there were times when he was sporadically on the money as nearly as I could tell (such as in this clip), which is better than a lot of other commentators out there…we need all the informed voices on our side that we can get…condolences to family and friends…

…and I feel like changing things up a bit here, and I think the recent 80th birthday of jazz singer Nancy Wilson on Monday gives me a chance to do that (as opposed to Nancy Wilson of Heart, also great)…except for “Thin Line Between Love and Hate,” possibly the greatest “YOU’RE BUSTED!” song of all time.

Update: Apparently, “Bri-Fi,” the brother of our previous wet noodle U.S. House rep, decided to have a “tele” town hall tonight on the “opioid epidemic,” courageously taking the “anti-opioid epidemic” stand (and yes, I know this is serious stuff…my point is that trying to wrap himself up in a “safe” issue like this and brooking absolutely no dissent or opinion on another topic is typical of the garbage pulled by his brother).

Well, tomorrow at 2PM, there will be a rally at Fitzpatrick’s Langhorne, PA office on behalf of the Affordable Care Law, trying to communicate peacefully yet forcefully to our PA-08 rep that health care is a human right (and please bring any and all signs you may have to try and get this message across). This will also be a rally to oppose any cuts to Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid (and who knows if “Bri-Fi” will actually show up).

The address of the Langhorne office is as follows:

Brian Fitzpatrick’s Office
1717 Langhorne-Newtown Rd.
Suite 400
Langhorne, PA 19047

Wednesday, February 22, 2017

Wednesday Stuff

(By the way, you can consider this pic my response to this story.)

Robert Reich tells us about the latest tax scam by the “party of Lincoln” (here)…

…and this clip from Rachel Maddow aired last week and is a little late I’ll admit, but I still think it should be shown anyway – a lady from South Carolina protesting Tim Scott and Huckleberry (Long Overdue) Graham’s failure to hold a town hall (and dick move by Scott to piggy-back off "Appalachian Trail" Sanford's town hall with not enough notice for her to get there in time)...

…and gosh, it looks like Generalissimo Trump finally made some utterances about anti-Semitism that any human being with a pulse should know to do by instinct (and good for Ben Jealous to go right after Steve Bannon, where all of this garbage starts as far as I’m concerned, not just against Jews but any other group based on race, ethnicity or gender preference)…

…and here is another attempt to keep my musical selections reasonably new and relevant (kind of a nice, poppy little tune).

Tuesday, February 21, 2017

Tuesday Stuff

Once more, Rachel Maddow connects the dots on stuff concerning Russia and President Fergus Laing (drip, drip, drip – “this is a test” indeed…don't forget Felix Sater either, by the way)…

…and Ari Melber speaks with a panel about Generalissimo Trump’s ongoing battles with, really, everything that isn’t Number 45 or his beloved base at this point (And comparisons to Nixon already? SAD! And another ridiculously stupid video cut by MSNBC…do they have toddlers doing this stuff?)…

…continuing, this tells us about the “Not My President” protests yesterday…

…and this tells us about the recent immigrant protests in These United States and those who were fired for doing so (including the “I Don’t Care Bar and Grill” in Oklahoma somewhere)…

…and by the way, did you hear about the two guys in Texas who shot each other and blamed it on illegal immigrants (along with that idiot pol on Facebook who apparently needs a Comp 50 class)? John and Ana explain…

…and Kurt Cobain would have been 50 yesterday.

Monday, February 20, 2017

Monday Stuff

Speaking of presidents (though I know this day is mainly for Numbers 1 and 16), Rachel Maddow brings us a clip of JFK talking about what should be the role of the press in our country, and often it is, though there are always exceptions (kind of a clumsy cut to the video at the end)…

…and you can agree or disagree with whether or not Jeremy Scahill should have bailed on “Real Time” over the presence of Milo Yiannopoulos, but I think Maher made up for that a bit with this great “New Rule" (NSFW)...

By the way, I basically side with Scahill. Yes, there is a principled argument to be made about Scahill appearing and confronting all of the garbage from this latest wingnut, made by Kyle Kulunski among others…and apparently, in response to Scahill not appearing, Maher said something about liberals continuing to lose elections unless they face up to radical Islam, or something, which to me is horseshit…but here’s the thing: it won’t matter one damn bit to Yiannopoulos or anyone of that ilk. Sorry to go “meta” on this, but speaking only for myself, I spent YEARS going to The Weakly Standard, Irrational Spew, clonwhall.com, AEI, and of course Fix Noise and the WSJ to find garbage from their sites that I refuted as best I could, and it didn’t matter ONE DAMN BIT how much I tried to blow up their idiotic and frequently insane talking points with the actual facts…they just came back a few weeks later with another wingnut spouting the same wingnut garbage over and over.

So good for Scahill (and by the way, with the focus on Yiannopoulos, it’s easy to overlook how Maher keeps bringing back people like former GA U.S. House Rep Jack Kingston, a pal of Number 45 and someone who has spouted garbage on that show for years but keeps getting booked anyway)…

Update 2/22/17: And after reading this, I'm even MORE convinced that Scahill was right.

…and continuing, Chris Hayes tells us about Oklahoma AG Scott Pruitt, the new head of the EPA who is definitely NOT OK, as the song goes (and this is typical)…

…and speaking of that senatorial waste of space from Kentucky, here’s wishing the worst possible 75th birthday to Sen. Mr. Elaine Chao…

Update 2/21/17: He does KY proud once again here...

…and it’s safe to say that our elected representatives in our beloved commonwealth are definitely acting like towers of Jello during this week when they’re supposed to be meeting with constituents, and that goes for Repug U.S. House Rep Brian “No, I’m Not My Brother Mike, Honest” Fitzpatrick and “No Corporate Tax” Pat Toomey of the same party, which makes me recall this less-than-courageous Fitzpatrick moment last year (to find out about a Resistance event in your area, click here)…

(Oh, I’m sorry…”Bri-Fi” no doubt will hold a “tele” town hall where he and his campaign people can screen out people they don’t want to talk to on the phone. You know, the same ruse his brother used, and the same thing “Mikey the Beloved” criticized former rep Patrick Murphy for when Murphy held the position.)

…and I know I put up a Supertramp song last week, but here’s another one for the occasion for Toomey and “Bri-Fi” (and with the McConnell turtle metaphor in mind too).

Saturday, February 18, 2017

Saturday Stuff

K.O. is out with #35 (kind of chilling a bit the way he links drug abuse at the end to votes for you-know-who, but the evidence doesn't lie)...

…and Samantha Bee gives Repug U.S. House Rep (and NOT Senator, Sam!) Mr.-Puppy-Dog-Eyes-With-The-Shiv the treatment he deserves here (NSFW)…

…and Rachel Maddow gives us an update on Dems allegedly competing in state and congressional races, with David Nir of Daily Kos also talking about the contest to fill the GA U.S. House seat of sleazeball Tom Price (more here - the “cliff hanger” had to do with the owner of the Miami Marlins baseball team being named ambassador to France if he sold his team to Jared Kushner, who of course is Generalissimo Trump’s son-in-law – the whole thing was put on hold, apparently…nah, no “conflict of interest” here…move along)…

Update 2/20/17: And speaking of important state races...

…and it looks like both chambers of Congress have now rolled back that pesky Obama-era regulation of not letting mentally ill people buy guns, as noted here (and yes, I’m definitely being tongue-in-cheek – and the ACLU doesn't usually put its foot in it as far as I'm concerned, but they sure did this time)...

...and I thought this was a great ad by Moveon.org given everything that's going on...

…and happy 70th birthday to Dennis DeYoung of Styx (with a tune possibly apropos for "Fortress America" envisioned by the Gropenfuhrer?).

Friday, February 17, 2017

Friday Stuff

I thought this was an excellent analysis of President Big Orange Cheetoh’s typically surreal press conference yesterday; I give all of the reporters credit here including Shep Smith, who continues to stand tall, but here is MY question – what made ANY of you think any of this would be any different from how he presented himself on the campaign trail in ’15 and ’16? Did any of you SERIOUSLY think that he would pivot somehow to a sane, rational perspective, when the tiny-handed egomaniac plainly doesn’t know of such a thing?...

...and I give you yet another installment of "This Day In Doomsy History" from 2/17/15 (FBI Director James Comey gave an enlightened speech on race and law enforcement, timed a bit for Black History Month...as I watch this, I wonder if he wasn't just trolling us in the end given his despicable behavior last year timed for the presidential election, particularly timely in light of this also)...

…and K.O. is here to tells us about the effects of Generalissimo Trump’s deportation orders (“U-S-A! U-S-A!”)…

…and I would call this democracy in action (from yesterday)…

…and Thom Hartmann speaks with Eve Ensler about a new organization to end violence against women, as a spring board to other related protests (good call by Thom for saying that it isn't just Trump, and I'm not talking just against violence against women - the "party of Lincoln" dances to their corporatist masters exclusively and acts like "The Handmaid's Tale" is a documentary...might be a tad late with this, but there's no "expiration date" on the message)…

…and I have to admit that Republican lawmakers in Tennessee have come up with a novel way to respond to peaceful protestors; just run them down with your car (oh, but the Teahadists protesting against the Affordable Care law were good protesters, and they deserved to be covered 24/7/365 on CNN, but those damn tree-hugging hippies trying to make sure they don’t lose their health care, their jobs, their savings…just go commit vehicular homicide, and it’s all good - and this gives you insight into their coal black hearts also)…

…and gosh, could Fergus Laing actually be getting bored with his new job? We’ll see (“President Von Munchausen” – good one by Rick Wilson, I have to admit)…

…and nothing like a little Delbert McClinton to help put us in the mood for the holiday weekend, is there (a long one for everybody, I hope).

Thursday, February 16, 2017

Thursday Stuff

I knew I would eventually have a problem trying to keep up with all of the scandals from President Fergus Laing, and that kind of bit me in a butt a bit with Andrew Puzder, who quite appropriately bailed as Labor Secretary Nominee before I could put up this video from Rachel Maddow – here it is anyway, notable if for no other reason than to point out the serf-like treatment Puzder gave to his employees (“oh, but it’s the franchise owners, not Puzder” – my ass; I worked in fast food many moons ago, people – anyone protesting for a livable wage in that bidness automatically has my respect)…

...well, regardless of what happens with the Trumpsters, I'm sure that pleases this life form...

...who I'm sure believes every word of this clip...

…and K.O. brings us some sage words on Number 45’s recklessness on national security (particularly galling given the way he acted on this during the campaign of course, lying on this like he does with everything else)…

…and given this recent typical idiocy from Steve “Calves The Size of Cantaloupes” King, I’m duly obligated to provide this clip once more (don’t want to contemplate the clueless meat sacks in Iowa who keep sending King back to Congress every two years)…

…and Kyle K. tells us that the Saudis just won some kind of counter-terrorism award; yep, I guess we’re officially “through the looking glass” now (NSFW)…

...and here's a somewhat retro new tune that the kids seem to like, so here it is (a little NSFW).

Wednesday, February 15, 2017

Wednesday Stuff

Yeah, Rachel Maddow tells us about the collusion between at least 4 members of the regime of Generalissimo Trump and our ol' buddy Vlad Putin...

…and who exactly is this demonic entity named Stephen Miller anyway? David Pakman tells us more…

…and Seth Meyers gives us a pretty informed take on the administrative implosion of our 45th president…

…and Chris Hayes talks with Col. Lawrence Wilkerson of what the rest of the world thinks of all of this insanity…

…and Cenk and Ana weigh in (and “No Corporate Tax” Pat Toomey criticized the leaks as opposed to the actual collusion between the “Trumpsters” and Putin – typical)…

…and happy birthday to Gary Clark, Jr. (yeah, definitely the news is on my mind with this selection, from the Grammys the other night – could have gone on with this one for about 10 more minutes, but it’s great for what it is).

Tuesday, February 14, 2017

Tuesday Stuff

This is a little behind the news curve given this, but I still think this is spot-on commentary by K.O…

…and Seth Meyers makes some similar points with humor here, though I’ll admit that the “Trumpster” stuff is less and less funny with each passing day…

…and even though the Bucks County Courier Times and Philadelphia’s conservative newspaper of record in these parts have a lot to answer for also, I nonetheless think Bill Maher’s comments about knowledge here are spot-on…

…and Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone.

Monday, February 13, 2017

Monday Stuff

In terms of the stuff that Fix Noise propagandizes about on a daily basis, this is comparatively low-hanging fruit as far as I’m concerned (only because you’d truly have to be an imbecile to argue it – again, it’s Fix Noise I know), but for the record, Rev. Al is absolutely right of course…

..and Rachel Maddow talks with Dem Congressman Adam Schiff about the latest on “Trumpster” Michael Flynn and the latter’s talks with Russia before the election, and referencing their influence in helping to elect Fergus Laing…

...and Kyle K. tells us that Iran's "Supreme Leader" thanked Trump for showing the true face of the USA, or something (NSFW - one of the most intelligent analyses of all of the Middle East stuff I've heard in awhile)...

…and RIP Al Jarreau (something more apropos for tomorrow I guess).
