Kyle discusses Mango Mussolini getting nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize (pardon me while I puke...and yeah, even Obama didn’t completely understand why he won in ’09 and he basically went over to Norway, grabbed it and ran without doing much of anything except getting everybody pissed off at him...and I’m sorry, but Kyle is TOTALLY WRONG on Trump and North Korea, particularly since 45 didn’t do a damn thing to curtail Kim Jong-Un’s nuke ambitions (here)...other than that, however, I think Kyle is spot-on here)...



...and yeah, I think this clip is a lot closer to the actual truth (we've already covered some of this, but it definitely bears repeating)...



...and in this “Damage Report” clip, Brett Erlich and Ben Dixon tells us that a three-judge NY panel told the Gropenfuhrer he couldn’t exclude illegal immigrants from the census (though, unfortunately, I think Dixon is right)...



...and Ali Velshi discusses QAnon with Shannon Foley-Martinez, who apparently is trying to basically deprogram these life forms (interesting explanation, which kind of leads me to believe that, among others, our media has failed to do its job to report the news to people in a way that makes sense to their lives and circumstances)...



...and Ana K. and Wosny Lambre talk about the reaction of the Kansas City fans booing the Chiefs and Texans players who wanted a moment of silence for equality (yep, “keeping it real” for sure I guess, and I’m trying not to opine too much about the racist stupidity on display since I think that’s already covered in this clip...and I know this isn’t the main point, but I’m surprised actual fans were even there)...



...and RIP Toots Hibbert of Toots and the Maytals (and apparently you can chalk this one up to COVID-19 also...ugh).

Friday Stuff

This “Damage Report” clip features Emma Vigeland and Michael Shure talking about the west coast wildfires...I totally get what Vigeland is saying, namely that we should have basically already moved to a green economy, and I’m not totally sure where Biden comes down on this also (though the Jay Inslee endorsement says something as far as I’m concerned), but Michael Shure is absolutely right also; Biden can’t come out against fracking in PA if he wants to win the state (commonwealth...yeah I know), and we already KNOW what the Gropenfuhrer thinks of the climate crisis...



...and this “Now This” clip reports on the loss of ice at Mount Kilimanjaro as a result of climate change (as important as these stories are, I watch them and I get absolutely enraged that, as a country, we can’t yet muster the political will to actually do something about it)...



...and Farron Cousins tells us about this DHS lackey Chad Wolf having intelligence data on election interference altered, specifically to ignore Russia but hype China and Iran, and also to play down white domestic terrorism but hype Antifa instead...Cousins comes down a little hard on the Dems at the end, but I’m sure he’s basically right...



...and David Doel tells us about Bernie Sanders responding to Sen. Mr. Elaine Chao and his BS bill to allegedly help people unemployed and/or financially hurt from the COVID-19 economic crisis (if Republicans aren’t talking about this, then don’t waste my time...and to do something about U.S. Senate Republicans supporting this garbage, click here)...

Thom Hartmann speaks with author Nancy Altman about Generalissimo Trump’s latest efforts to kill Social Security (and make no mistake that he would make every effort to do that merely out of spite if for no other reason...sync is off again)...



...and yeah, 45 knew all right, as Brian Tyler Cohen tells us (and I don’t give Woodward a pass here either – letting us know that our *president is going to allow a deadly pandemic to rage out of control is more important than book sales as far as I’m concerned, and it’s not like Woodward should be hurting for $$$)...

And yes, I know Doel is playing devil’s advocate here a bit, though I’m still a little annoyed by his “what else can you expect” remarks...also, when it comes to COVID-19, I don’t completely believe the recent numbers since I don’t think all of the cases are being reported to the CDC...you can lump Tillis in with his other same-party playmates as far as I'm concerned here)...



...and Kyle K. brings us this HLN clip on 50% of people unemployed – about 40 million – not being able to afford food, which is pretty damn awful and why this is needed...and the quote Kyle mentions came from JFK...



...and I now give you the latest installment of “This Day In Doomsy History” (more or less) from 9/9/10, in which K.O. reminds us about Repug SC U.S. Congressman Joe Wilson yelling out “You Lie” during former President Obama’s address about health care reform (more here), which, given the unending falsehoods of Number 45, seems almost quaint now...and yeah, this idiot is still serving in the U.S. Congress...



...and sometimes, the hilarity just writes itself; this Now This clip tells us about the accidents at the latest Trump boat parade...and sorry, but I don’t care about these idiots and their vessels capsizing or whatever...



..and RIP legendary actress Dame Diana Rigg; a formidable thespian for sure, and I have to tell you something – when you’re a little kid watching “The Avengers” (the ‘60s Brit spy TV series that is) and you see her in her heyday looking like she was poured into that leather cat suit or whatever that was...well, I don’t think I’m being a chauvinist to say that it had the desired effect...



...and speaking of milestones, while I was on my break, I missed the 75th birthday of ‘70s prog rocker Al Stewart – hope it was a good one.

Tuesday Stuff

 

OK, I’m going to try and get this thing running again after some much-needed time off - and yes, to be fair, I should point out that the group behind this ad cast a metaphorical blind eye to an awful lot of Repug craziness before the Gropenfuhrer came along, but for now, the Lincoln Project continues to do good work, so that’s why I’m including their videos...



...and I think this clip takes a bit of a tone similar to a ‘50s black-and-white schlock flick a bit (something produced by William Castle for example) with the tag line of “THEY’RE COMING FOR YOU!,” but seriously, in Mango Mussolin’s America, is the warning that far off base?...



...and though I tried to remain “out of pocket,” I definitely noticed what Farron Cousins talks about here, and that is Joe Biden’s trip to Brandywine Cemetery...to visit his son, first wife and daughter, and of course, the Trumpsters attacked him (mildly NSFW/H, and boy, is Cousins ever right about this Francis Brennan loser)...



...and I’m not going to take too much of an issue with this teacher for voting for Our Treasonous Orange Pustule in ’16 – I believe she was incredibly naïve and ill-informed – but she does make a convincing case for DEFINTELY NOT making that mistake again...



...and I think Ana and John in particular are correct in this TYT segment about the U.S. not working together with the World Health Organization to come up with a COVID-19 vaccine because Our Ruling Regime of Frauds, Liars and Idiots wants to try and unleash something on this country in time for the election, with safety and any practical considerations being utterly damned of course...
