I thought this was an interesting “Now This” clip comparing the post-impeachment speeches of Bill Clinton and the Gropenfuhrer…



…and Ana and John of TYT talk about House Dem Speaker Nancy Pelosi rebutting Trump on the SOTU – I would have liked to have seen a little more “fire in the belly” too, and on a more frequent basis also I’ll admit…I understand Ana’s point that maybe Number 44 didn’t go for the big structural change that many of us wanted, but I never have a problem when somebody responds to typical Repug BS with actual facts – but yeah, we need more evangelism from Dems and less triangulation, if you will…



…and if it’s a day of the week with a “y” in it, then you can count on Mango Mussolini to degrade the presidency in disgusting new ways, which he does yet again here, giving Flush Limbore the Congressional Medal of Freedom (and despite what he would wish for us, I also wish for him to have good health…NSFW)…

Wednesday Stuff (updates)

I agree with the assessment that this ad is quite good, though I still have a sick feeling that the Gropenfuhrer will get away with it…



…and I missed this great Lincoln Project ad on Cory Gardner from a few weeks ago (someone else who will no doubt vote to acquit), so here it is now…



…and I don’t have divine insight into what happened into the Iowa caucuses – apparently Mayor Pete and Bernie did OK and Elizabeth Warren is still in the picture but “Malarkey” Joe is having problems – but if most voters fit the profile of the woman in this video, then that would explain a few things, and not in a good way…



…and RIP Andy Gill of Gang of Four.

Update: There will never be another (here) - all hail the man who broke the blacklist, along with Otto Preminger.

…and john I and Brett Erlich tells us about Mango Mussolini’s typically gonzo interpretation of Article 2 of the Constitution, aided and abetted by Alan Dershowitz (and in a related Super Bowl vein, this is probably worth a cheap laugh or two – and by the way, congrats to Andy Reid and the Chiefs)…
