(I also posted here.)
It would actually be unintentionally funny if it weren’t so pathetic, and so much wasn’t at stake (more here) – when all is said and done, “Orange Man” will go down as one of the very worst U.S. House speakers this country has ever seen…

Thursday Stuff
(I remembered the day today - face palm...).
Yep, Repugs, looks like you’re all headed for that “death spiral” over “Obamacare” – time to order up more slime, I guess (hopefully it won’t work)…
…and I would say that Cliven Bundy is at about fourteen and a half minutes here (and the only reason why Sean Inanity turned on Bundy is because he’s getting pilloried by Jon Stewart over it)…
...and as far as I'm concerned, the "peach state" is "the pits" for this (lock and load, wingnuts - meanwhile, the beat goes on)...
...and yeah, I'd say that Bundy and the Georgia asshats have been presented in "bad self-portraits" here too.

Wednesday Stuff
Happy 60th birthday to filmmaker Michael Moore – I think this clip from Rachel Maddow communicates just how far out on a limb he went on Iraq, and I know he’s become sort of a pop-culture punchline in a way since then, unjustly I believe (finally saw “Team America” recently from Trey Parker and Matt Stone, about 8 years or so late I guess, and that’s the treatment Moore gets…yes, he’s been guilty of excess at times and he hasn’t always been 100 percent correct, but as far as I’m concerned, he’s gotten closer to that target as a documentary filmmaker than anyone else)…
…and I think this is one of the better “Debunktion Junction” features – sticking with R. Maddow…
…and the segment with the wrongly-terminated Police Chief Moore in the prior clip is probably a good segue to this - the end of Jon Stewart’s typically great commentary here is definitely NSFW, but God, is he right…
…and to commemorate the 450th birthday of The Bard, I give you an unusual tribute.

Tuesday Stuff
I thought this was a good interview conducted by Alex Wagner with Nevada journalist Jon Ralston over the whole Cliven Bundy idiocy - more food for thought is here (and yeah, maybe Harry Reid shouldn’t have referred to Bundy’s supporters as terrorists, but it’s hard to see them as anything but that at this point)…
...and I have to admit that I was on the fence a bit between Tom Wolf and Allyson Schwartz as to who should be the Democratic Party nominee to take on Tom “Space Cadet” Corbett in the PA Gubernatorial contest this fall, but this ad cinches it for me on the Allyson Schwartz side – this is exactly how a Democrat is supposed to run (to help, click here)…
…and I thought this was an interesting Rachel Maddow feature on presidential pardons, and why Number 44 has a bit of catching up to do on this (not surprised that there's a Bushco "back door slam," if you will, here)…
…and by the way, Happy Earth Day.

Monday Stuff
Hey Democrats – want to know how to run on the successes of the Affordable Care Law? By highlighting stories like the ones touched on here...
...and it looks like BoBo is up to more antics here - Sam Seder brings to us other recent Brooks idiocy (along with Beltway mouthpiece Ruth Marcus)...
...and note to corporate media stenographer Marcus and her pals - do you want to know about something that is really revolting? Check this out (but just the fact that Jeb is Dubya's brother wouldn't automatically disqualify him - still have to make the case)...
...and I only have a few days left for this one, so here it is.
