Friday Stuff

I’m going to try and catch up with Keith Olbermann’s great “Resistance” commentaries – here, he discusses testimony of former FBI Director James Comey confirming coordination with 2 different investigations into the Trump/Russia garbage (likely grand juries), an admission that probably got Comey fired by our ruling cabal…

…and this actually precedes the prior clip (yep, about Michael Flynn’s clearance and how it supposedly was Obama’s fault – “that’s the end of that subject”…yeah, sure…and oh yeah, any reason why Jill Stein gets a pass on all of this?)…

…and moving up chronologically a bit on this stuff, Sam Seder tells us that the regime of Fergus Laing, in addition to not knowing what they’re doing, also has no clue about how to manage the proverbial optics on the issues, holding court with possibly the last remaining member of the last presidential administration in which the chief executive resigned in disgrace…

…and this guy needs to work on his presentation skills a bit, but he’s onto a typically ridiculous story from the administration of the “Gropenfuhrer,” one in which HHS Secretary Tom Price tried to get a reporter arrested for asking a question (and coming from the Trumpsters, this should surprise absolutely no one – NSFW)…

…and I thoroughly agree with Bill Maher’s disgust over those on our side who couldn’t bring themselves to vote for HRC; yeah, maybe he’s treading on well-worn ground at this point, but he’s right…Maher’s imperfect on a lot of issues to be sure, but he was absolutely spot-on to warn us (NSFW)…

…and gosh, it looks like this brave mom in North Carolina just won’t let her daughter “die quickly,” as Alan Grayson once characterized the GOP’s alleged health care plan…

…and by the way, the congressman in question is the same life form responsible for this…

…and just for the record, the former John Simon Ritchie would have been 60 on Wednesday.

Thursday Stuff

K.O. issues a plea for help, which I think is entirely called for (and not to pat myself on the back or anything, but I DID WARN YOU, people)…

…and I thought Rachel Maddow did a great job here of laying out here exactly why she thinks incoming FBI director Andrew McCabe is thoroughly compromised (author Tim Weiner appeared later in the show, an accomplished national intelligence writer to be sure, and he defended McCabe a bit, but I still side with Maddow)…

…and it looks like the “Trumpettes” are trying to spin their way out of this for their boss, but they just keep sinking, which is only what they deserve (and when you’ve lost Joe Scar, it’s time to say “oops” and get out – can’t think of a word for the irony of them saying this for real crimes that will eventually be proved when we said it repeatedly last year for the Hillary Clinton “access” and Email nonsense)…

...and I think Oregon Dem Sen. Ron Wyden shows the determination that we ALL need to have to find out exactly what the hell it is that went on with this crooked cabal of idiots...

...and yeah, I would say that Lavrov pretty much "trolled" us also (NSFW)...

…and with everything going on with the “Gropenfuhrer,” I have to tell you the treatment Number 45 received from the Bucks County Courier Times yesterday.

The banner story on the front page had to do with whether or not gun sellers do better under “pro-gun” presidents or “anti-gun” presidents (shocker: it’s anti-gun!). Most of the rest of the first page was taken up with a story on pollution in Bucks County.

Oh, and waaay down in the bottom right corner of the front page was a itsy bitsy, teenie weenie little text box with an AP story about the fact that – oh, by the waythe sitting president of the U.S. just fired the FBI director conducting an investigation of that president in the matter of his all-but-confirmed personal involvement in collaborating with a foreign power in an effort to win a presidential election.

Nothing to see here, move along…

Wednesday Stuff

Cenk and Ana of TYT weigh in on the firing of former FBI director James Comey (and yeah, that's a pretty damn ridiculous excuse even for Generalissimo Trump)...

…and former Hillary Clinton campaign senior adviser Karen Finney tells Chris Hayes how the Trumpsters used prior AG quotes (lifted from her campaign’s “oppo” stuff) in the letter firing Comey (wonder how Comey feels about helping the Trumpsters last fall now - also hilarious that Big Orange Cheetoh apparently sent his bodyguard to an FBI building to "serve" Comey, as opposed to lackey Reince Priebus, with a letter firing him, but Comey was on the "left coast" instead)...

…and Sen. Al Franken weighs in here also (“no man or woman is above the law,” aside from being entirely correct, is also an echo to Nixonian times of course – and after the “Gropenfuhrer” is charged and prosecuted, Jeff Sessions should be also)…

…and yeah, I think K.O. gives this matter the seriousness it truly deserves (I know the videos are out of order again - I'll catch up eventually)…

...and I would say that people are paying attention (here)...

...all of which puts me in the mood to hear this tune once more, echoing back to number 37 of course.

Tuesday Stuff

“Freedom is a gift from God” – those words reek like garbage coming out of the mouth of President Big Orange Cheetoh – still happy, all you numbskulls who thought Hillary was the female anti-Christ

…and I think it’s fair to say that we’ll be revisiting the Sally Yates hearing on Capitol Hill yesterday for a little while, but first, here is the clip of her emasculation of Ted Cruz – one for the ages…

…and K.O. recounts this as well as other moments, mustering all of the outrage that I believe is required…

…and I know I’m behind a bit on some stuff, and I’ll try to get to it now, such as the woman protestor actually looking at jail time for laughing at Jeff Sessions – if Sessions doesn’t deserve to be laughed at, I don’t know who does…

…and here’s another one, and that’s Seth Meyers weighing in on the latest garbage with the “Gropenfuhrer,” including the wall/baller fence/whatever…

…and anyone who supported the so-called ACHA had better be prepared for a bunch of ads pretty much like this

…and Rachel Maddow tells us that the Repugs who supported Trump-Scam-Care (including Martha McSally) are having a hard time trying to sell “access” to “health care” as opposed to actual, bona fide – you know – HEALTH INSURANCE TO TAKE CARE OF YOU WHEN YOU NEED IT (and yes, Rod Blum is nothing but a stinking liar) – and kudos to Dems like Sean Patrick Maloney for standing up in place of these cowards…

…and aside from being an accomplished music producer (U2), this guy knows how to craft a pretty cool piece of music like this.

Monday Stuff

I think it’s pretty obvious what Mr.-Puppy-Dog-Eyes-With-The-Shiv is at this point, but it bears repeating anyway, along with all of the other antics in that cabal of Republican frauds in the U.S. House…

…and on health care as well as other issues of course, Generalissimo Trump has no core convictions for anything affecting anyone else except himself…

…and we were having a little fun I guess in the prior clip, but this is truly awful – John Faso should be run out of New York (and/or maybe Washington, DC) on a rail…

…and speaking of human tragedy, Kyle K. tells us that Flint, MI residents have to pay for fouled water (NSFW…what country am I living in again?)…

…and oh yeah, about the “Gropenfuhrer” and his clan (though I guess I could spell that with a “K”), K.O. tells our fourth estate once more to do its effing job (and kudos to give a well-deserved shot to Philadelphia’s conservative newspaper of record in the process)…

…and speaking of health care, happy National Nurses Week to everyone for whom that honored title applies.
