Yeah, it’s safe to say that I missed John Oliver, though I could do without the techno dance music – heh (here - NSFW I think)…
…and Robert Reich tells us here about the proposed infrastructure scam from President Tiny Handed Egomaniac and his pals (here)…
…which, if I may say so, is a pretty good lead-in to the latest installment of “This Day In Doomsy History” from 2/24/10, where Repug politicians (Sam Brownback, Tim Pawlenty and Mike Castle) decried “big gumint” spending on such projects in Washington, D.C., but took credit for it back home (more here, echoing the prior link)…
…and I definitely would call this a sign o’ the times, you might say (re, rise of the "Democratic socialists")…

…and with the impact of the Democratic Socialists in mind, as well as other influences I’m sure, I think it’s safe to say that another ridiculous GOP talking point about “Obamacare” has been destroyed (more here - and there are rallies for health care tomorrow, let's not forget...more here and here)…

…and K.O. tells us about what you could call “the revenge of the spooks” versus “The Gropenfuhrer” (NSFW)…
…and I’m a little late on this, but RIP Alan Aldridge, an artist who designed the album covers (you can Google the term) for The Who and Elton John, in particular “Captain Fantastic And The Brown Dirt Cowboy,” a recording which yielded this fine tune (yep, funk with strings – has to be from the ‘70s).
