Saturday Stuff

Rachel Maddow reminds us of the role Roger Stone played in the Russian government’s election interference in 2016 to aid the Trump campaign; as I’m sure we all know by now, Stone had his sentenced commuted by the Gropenfuhrer as a reward for keeping his mouth shut (typical for a criminal despotic regime like this one - more here)…

…and speaking of criminal despots, this ad draws a line from our ruling cabal of frauds and lowlifes to our “good friends” the Saudis; I’m not happy that the ad includes Fix Noise personalities including the Swanson TV Dinner heir, but it makes good points, and it contains images of 9/11 that may be distressing (and speaking of what turned out to be an iconic image, I was sorry to hear about this)…to be fair, politicians of both parties have been tripping over themselves to curry favor with the Saudis, but of course 45 is doing that on steroids, you might say…

…and Chris Hayes tells us all about Repug non-governance in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, though of course there have been exceptions such as the ones noted, along with Governor Larry Hogan of Maryland…

…and gee, it looks like Kayleigh McEnany, this week’s Trump Administration Press Secretary, isn’t feeling any shame over the “handout” her family took for their construction business, as Farron Cousins tells us (more here)…

…and this may be the very lowest of this week’s “low-hanging fruit”…Trumpster and Dilbert cartoonist Scott Adams thinks conservatives will be hunted under a potential Joe Biden administration (sounds a little like Ted Nugent saying he would be dead or in jail if Obama won a second term…I guess, to paraphrase Laura Ingraham, my response would be “shut up and draw”)…

...and I'm in the mood for another summer tune, and I had to dig a bit deeper than usual for this one (and no, I wouldn't buy a used car from any of these people).
