And what would Life In These United States be like without another mass shooting, tragically – sorry that this keeps taking place, but the solution isn’t something you can fit on a bumper sticker, so, as we know, it’s beyond the attention span (to say nothing of the political will) of at least 30 percent of this country (and God knows that I want to be wrong about that, but I know I’m not – more here, here, and here)...

...and this NBC News report tells us about yesterday’s nationwide protests in support of Roe v. Wade (here), which the SCOTUS is poised to gut shortly (and one response to Almost Silent Clarence Thomas is here - and please take note of the fact that protestors did not storm the Capitol, act in a manner that led to the deaths and injuries of individuals including Capitol police, and parade inside the Capitol building with a Confederate flag)...

...and given the first video about the latest horredous incident of mass gun slaughter in this country, I suppose it's time for this tune again.
