Friday Stuff

Kelvin Lovely of GoLeft TV has a few words for Dennis Miller (nice)...

...the great Rush Holt of New Jersey speaks to the House about the FISA bill crafted today (well done)...

...and we keep being told how bad it is that our kids are trailing Asian children in math and science; now, the Onion tells us that African kids are ahead of ours in another category - more on this story as it (hopefully) doesn't develop...

...and Robert Greenwald and Brave New Films show us how "Fox Attacks" (and, by extension, everyone else) Barack Obama...again (and how much do you want to bet this will get ignored...h/t Prof. Marcus).

Pullleze! Americans are so sick of the smear attempts of the GOP/Fox news, etc. against Senator Obama and others. Obama is not guilty by association, not by acquaintance, with Wright or anyone else! The Wright videos were crafted by guess who? John McCain is the only man to benefit.
News Flash: Obama supporters follow him because he is genuine. We are drawn to a leader with a record of accomplishment, genuine integrity, intelligence, and leadership. Americans want to end the politics of fear. Senator Barack Obama does not allow smear tactics within his campaign. He is an honest man who will bring honor and dignity to the White House.

No argument whatsoever from me - in fact, I'll go you one better than that. Someone at The Daily Kos asked yesterday why is it that videos of Farrakhan and Wright are everywhere, but there was almost no video at all of Huckabee from the pulpit when he was running for President. After all, the guy is a Baptist minister (probably because when he spoke, he said stuff like the Constitution should be changed to reflect God's will, or something).
