I missed Gordon Sumner's birthday a couple of days ago, so as a tribute, here's a clip to a performance on "Saturday Night Live" from years ago - a comedy bit, no less, with him taking a turn as Billy Idol (this was one of the funniest damn things I ever saw, featuring the late, great Phil Hartman, and Jan Hooks and Chris Rock were hilarious also...embedding wasn't allowed, so I can only link to it).
