…and given the particularly repugnant garbage from the Gropenfuhrer and his pals, I think I’m in need of more of a “palate cleanser,” if you will, than usual, and I hope this (going from the ridiculous to the sublime) will suffice; the selection commemorates the 90th anniversary of the first U.S. concert appearance by Vladimir Horowitz (here), quite possibly the greatest concert pianist of all time – hope you enjoy this bit of culture.
