…and speaking of Russia, last May 28th marked the 30th anniversary of German Mathias Rust landing a plane in Red Square – he’d probably be shot or poisoned if he tried that today (as a YouTube commented noted, the then-Soviet Union had shot down a Korean passenger plane shortly before that and rightly earned world outrage for it, which might be another reason why Rust wasn’t blown out of the sky)…
…and speaking of “in your face” (a la Macron), Dem U.S. Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro gives it to Trumpster Betsy DeVos, with the typical apologia from Repug U.S. House Rep Tom Cole (great point by Sue Ann Robinson about messaging, by the way)…
…also, Ari Melber talks with Dem U.S. House Rep Jim Himes about the Senate investigation into Trump and Russia supposedly expanding to last year's presidential campaign (not sure who the reporter was who Melber spoke to later)...
…and The Majority Report gives us the latest on Ken Langone of Home Depot, with his typical “one percent” point of view – another good reason to go to Lowe’s instead…
…and here’s another great Allman Brothers tune from later in the ‘70s.
