Thursday Stuff

The Challenger explosion took place 30 years ago today (as far as I'm concerned, that tragedy happened primarily because of the stupefying, idiotic misjudgement of The Sainted Ronnie R as well as the calamitous negligence of Morton Thiokol, as noted here)...

...and hey, lookee here – Ed Schultz is now with RT; here, he talks with Marin Katusa, Fund Manager of the KCR Fund and a New York Times bestselling author, about what’s going on in U.S. energy markets – then, Simone Del Rosario discusses Saudi Arabia's decades-old secret leverage, which is (wait for it...) the amount of debt we stupidly ran up with our "allies" (of course, that's what really matters, not the type of debt our corporate media cares about - I think the scenarios discussed here are a bit dire and some of these are “glass half empty” projections, but Katusa is no slouch on this stuff, so we should all pay attention)...

...and speaking of energy, I don't know if anything is actually rotten in Denmark or not, but if something is, it's not that country's commitment to wind power...

…and I guess this qualifies as a “relationship” song; sorry, no “message music” tonight.
