Sunday Stuff

If all of this is true, then what the hell was the point of that speech last week (glide slope?)...



...and after I read Frank Rich today on this topic (here), I happened to find out that yesterday was the 62nd birthday of Jim Messina, the less-famous half of the duo of Loggins and Messina (the career of Kenny Loggins took off into the stratosphere after they broke up), and I immediately thought of this song (and believe it or not, this was actually the "B" side of the classic-rock staple "Your Mama Don't Dance" - and Stephen Stills had a hand in this song, by the way).

There's no video here, only the words and music, which speak for themselves (and I wish songs like this were still being written and performed now).
