According to a recent article in The New York Times, the rise in the average price of gasoline last week was the largest since records have been kept. The national average of regular unleaded stood at $2.55 yesterday, and most analysts expect the cost of fuel will continue to rise through Labor Day.If anyone ever tells me that the Repugs are the "party of fiscal conservatism" again, I'm going to have a great big belly laugh right in their faces.
